Stewards of Historical Preservation launched a Patreon page. While much of the work that SHiP does is funded through consultation and service fees on projects, there are many projects that fall through the cracks. Due to the recent budget cuts at state and federal levels for historic preservation, many organizations likely cannot afford the service or consultation fees we charge for projects.

The goal of the Patreon page is to offset the costs SHiP would otherwise take on (insurance, publication, labor) for small historic preservation projects. For examples of projects SHiP has done, see the "projects" tab. These include delineating the boundaries of cemeteries, documenting historic buildings, or conducting archaeological surveys.
