USDA Grassed Waterways

The US Fish and Wildlife Services, as well as the US Department of Agriculture, run programs to support farmers in their efforts to reduce water runoff and soil erosion on farms. SHiP has supported these efforts by evaluating the potential adverse effects to historic properties within proposed artificial wetlands, grassed waterways, and other irrigation projects within Ottawa and Sandusky counties.
